In April 2016 our new £32 million building, Charles Street, was fully opened. The iconic 7-storey building is built in two halves, split by Brown Lane, and lies on an historic grid pattern which has been retained in the design of Charles Street. Other nods to the site’s metalworking heritage include a tessellated pattern of deer antlers on the gates and brick patterns inspired by the existing iron grates around the Grade II Butcher Works opposite.
