Sheffield Hallam’s Personal Trainer Award is a modern, industry-recognised qualification, mapped to the CIMSPA (Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity) professional standard for Personal Training.

The qualification is designed to help you build a successful and rewarding career as a Personal Trainer, allowing you to apply your skills and knowledge with arrange of clients and multiple environments.

This Exercise Instructor course is a 4-day face to face course, being delivered by the School of Sport and Physical Activity at City Campus. The course is fully mapped to the CIMPSA Gym Instructor Professional standards and designing to provide all the knowledge and skills needed to instruct exercise with a range of clients. The Exercise Instructor Award is the minimum requirement needed to work in the health and fitness industry, it is also a pre-requisite needed to progress to a Personal Trainer or Exercise Referral Award.
