Grounded in robust research, MI works with a person's own motivation and values to build genuine engagement — whether in clinical, social care, or other helping settings. This two-part programme builds practical, immediately applicable skills, from the core spirit and techniques of MI through to advanced strategies for planning change and matching your approach to each client's readiness. Social Work Practice Educator Course (PEPS Stage 1 and PEPS Stage 2) 2027DescriptionThe Course will enable you to meet the Practice Educator Professional Standards (BASW, 2022) by gathering evidence from working with a social work students.
