The UN Geneva Human Rights Field Project provides students with a unique opportunity to gain insight and understanding of international human rights in practice. In particular, students will learn how human rights are discussed, negotiated, agreed and contested by actors of the international community, as well as the skills with which human rights are promoted and defended by a range of non-state actors with the ambition to advance human rights implementation in practice. The UN Geneva field project is supported by a GoGlobal grant and by funding from the Department of Law and Criminology. Students are required to contribute and pay a non-refundable deposit of £250 once an individual application has been approved.
